How cool is this? Me and my friend came across this on our way to a Ke$ha concert in Las Vegas. We just had to take a picture. Looks like an explosion from the clouds. It was so amazing seeing it in person.
Thanks for sharing this awesome picture. We absolutely love it and can't stop staring.
How do clouds form you ask? First, the heat from the sun warms the surface of the earth and evaporates water. A warm, moist layer builds up between 1,000 to 5,000 feet then rising air currents organize into "thermals." Lastly, water vapor in rising air parcels condenses to form what we see as clouds. What a sweet process that creates beautiful art in the sky:-)
Do any of you see a whales tail instead of an explosion?
